The inspiration for this handcrafted, one-of-a-kind, all solid wood table was a series of intersecting curves that blossom from the ground. The top (19.5"x48") is quilted maple and the skirt and legs are western maple. The table is 29" high. The finish is a brushed lacquer. Each leg is attached to the skirt by an interior piece of wood (floating tenon) — a traditional joinery technique. The top is attached to the skirt by "buttons" that allow for wood movement.
